A Good Day!

I got my Equity card today!! I marched myself to the office, paid the $300.00 (borrowed from my mom; thanks, Mommasita!) and am now officially a proud member of the Actors Equity Association.

Then I hauled ass to the "Wicked" audition.

I was #19, my audition was fine. I think they're not looking for girls to replace, but at least I got to sing, which is what I wanted to do in the first place. I also attended another audition today, as an EQUITY member, which felt sooooo good. I don't think anything will come of it, but the pianist did comment, "I love your voice!!" after I finished my song.

Oh, Lord, please let this all be worth it...I am now a working actor...oh, praise God!
