I just heard that Madeleine L'Engle has died. She was 88 years old.
I have always loved L'Engle's books, such as "A Wrinkle in Time", but my favorite book of hers was "A Circle of Quiet". In fact, I have liked her so well that I thought that, if I were to ever have a daughter, I might just name her, "Madeleine".
And maybe spell it differently.
Or maybe not.
Anyway - maybe it's time to re-read some of those old favorites.
